The Hilton Palacio del Rio takes great pride in maintaining the integrity of the Lobby and Public Areas for all hotel guests. In order to deliver a tranquil experience for our guests, there are a few things we ask of you during your stay:
As a standard, Signage or Banners in the Lobby or Public Areas are not allowed. An exception may be considered in the event of a hotel buy-out where all guest rooms are contracted by a single group.
Hotel General Manager approval, in advance, is required if you feel you have an exception to be considered.
Please see your Catering/Event Manager should you have questions regarding Signage or Banners in the Lobby or Public Areas of the hotel.
The hotel has electronic digital Reader Boards in the Lobby and Public meeting space Foyers.
Outside of each meeting space is a digital reader board for that specific space.
Easels are provided (1 per meeting space, complimentary) for rooms that do not have digital signage
** See your Event Manger regarding use of hotel easels and/or use of hotel digital electronic Reader Board space for advertisement opportunities. Additional fees will be assessed.
In order to preserve the integrity of the hotel nd to ensure a safe environment for our guests and hotel associates, the following GENERAL GUIDELINES have been established by the hotel:
•Only professionally printed signage or banners are allowed.
•Banners may be hung from the skirting of your registration or hospitality desk if approved location is in the Lobby.
•Handwritten signs and/or flip charts are not allowed outside the meeting rooms.
•Signs, posters, flip chart pages, printed material, etc. are not allowed to be affixed in any manner to doors, walls or ceilings.
•Arrangements must be in advance through your Event Manager to hang posters and/or banners in meeting space areas. Appropriate fees will be assessed.
•Signs can be placed on easels or may be stand-alone pop-up banner stands in meeting space areas.
•Banners and/or signs which are to be attached pipe & drape are the responsibility of the Decorating Company, not the hotel’s Property Operations Department.
Lastly, Fire Exits may not be visually obscured and doorways/pathways may not be obstructed.
The hotel permits the placement of signage as a courtesy to our group customers. Group is required to remove all signage immediately upon the conclusion for their program or event.
